How to interpret this case
1,000 is the number of hairs. The public record does not specify a graft count.
Before treatment and assessment
The patient had previously undergone one hair transplant at another clinic but was unhappy with the shape of his hairline. He visited for revision and also discussed the hairs at the two ends of his hairline that would not grow long.
Design decisions
He wanted a more masculine, straighter and more angular shape in place of the rounded hairline. We also considered his wish to replace some of the hairs at the ends of the hairline with new hairs capable of growing longer. The design and placement were decided after a detailed consultation.
About the photographs
Before surgery: the rounded hairline following transplantation at another clinic that the patient wished to revise.
One year after surgery: comparison of the hairline shape after transplantation of 1,000 hairs.
Follow-up record
The before-surgery and one-year follow-up photographs from side angles 1 and 2 show the hairline shape and hair placement. The face has been pixelated for privacy.
This is an individual patient record. Results and recovery vary, and this case does not predict another person’s results or the number of treatments they may need.
